The charming 19th-century building housed a plethora of maps and books, providing endless ideas for exploring the stunning surroundings. I was delighted to find that the cottage was equipped with all the essentials and more, including a garden with a barbecue, perfect for enjoying a cozy evening outdoors. the one bathroom fitted with a shower was modern and immaculate, adding to the overall comfort of the stay. The location of the property, just a stone's throw away from East Midlands Airport, made it convenient for travelers like myself. Nottingham Castle and the city of Nottingham were also within easy reach, offering plenty of opportunities for sightseeing. the thoughtful touches such as fresh flowers, biscuits, and a variety of tea and coffee made me feel right at home. the stunning garden views, coupled with the amenities like free WiFi and a washing machine, made my stay at Hillside Cottage truly unforgettable. Overall, Hillside Cottage provided a tranquil and cozy retreat in the heart of Derbyshire, making it the perfect choice for a relaxing getaway. I highly recommend this charming holiday home to anyone looking to experience the beauty of the English countryside in a comfortable and picturesque setting.
